After 30 years of putting on youth productions under the trading styles SOS Juniors and Debut Youth Theatre (DYT), Southampton Operatic Society (SOS) has decided that the operations of its Junior Members Sub-Committee will cease for the foreseeable future. It is hoped and expected that this will be a temporary cessation.

In the meantime, parents of SOS Juniors / DYT members are encouraged to enrol their children with Dynamic Youth Theatre, a separate charity registered under charity no. 1177421, which numbers amongst its trustees a number of former SOS sub-committee members and which shares very similar charitable objects to those espoused by SOS.

The adult members of SOS wish Dynamic Youth Theatre every success with their future endeavours, commencing with a production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Hanger Farm Arts Centre, Totton, from 6 to 8 December 2018.
